Gradespeed: New HISD Software

Giving student, teachers and parents full visibility

 

In today’s busy world it can be difficult to keep up with every homework assignment, quiz and exam. Thankfully there’s a new software program that makes doing so much easier by bringing teachers, students and parents all together online.

The Houston Independent School District, including Parker Elementary School, began using Gradespeed during the 2009-2010 school year. The software tool gives students and parents access to daily grades, daily attendance, and homework assignments. It also can notify parents when their child is absent from school or falling behind in homework assignments.
